Band-Wagon

So I think I'm pretty much in the Reptoids (www.myspace.com/reptoids). Silent is the Grave is done (www.myspace.com/silentisthegrave), however, I'm finishing the mixing on the new disc anyway, and we'll have it up for free on myspace. It'll be call "So what of the future, So what of the past?". The new stuff is much more sludgy and definitely has some aspects of Death Metal, Black Metal, European Metal and then of course that Isis, Cult of Luna shit I bring to the table. It's actually pretty dynamic with songs around the 6 minute mark. Too bad things didn't work out between us.

Dear Chris,
I want to like this band but I don't know....I definately know your knowledge of sound will help their sound. The bass on the songs sounds, well, shitty. I know you can get that magical speaker boxx to crank out sweeter soundz. I'm guessing they are way better live because frankly those recordings just don't get the toe tapping. They potential is there, don't get me wrong, but band as a whole needs a certain something, a kick, something, I don't know, it is there but there is a certain spark missing.

PS You are way cuter than those chicks.

hehe.

It's ok Josh, I'll add the kick it needs. I think the songs just need a little more immediacy. When we practice, the songs feel good. Plus I bring distortion to the table. Also, the bass player almost plays too much. I told them that when I started. It needs more attack.

Hopefully you'll get to see us live. Joe offered us a spot at the Mainstage with you the day after Thanksgiving, but I can't play it..but there is always next time.
